Sedona, Arizona: In our years of living here, the beauty of Sedona has kept us going there several times a year.  The moment you turn north along Route 179 from Interstate 17, and start seeing the mountains ? greeted by the Bell Rock mountain – you will suddenly be filled with excitement and awe.  How could there be such a geological wonderland that has been created for people to enjoy.  Amidst the beautiful homes that abound, are nature??s bounty for hiking, biking, jogging, local jeepney touring, or just plain gazing with your eyes.  There is a feeling of calm, relaxation and spirituality; locals call these the effects of the vortices and the red mountains with their mesas. Sedona inspires, thrills, mystifies, haunts and energizes.  The skies are almost always clear and blue at daytime, and filled with stars at night! There are so many hiking trails, our favorites being the slope of Cathedral Mountain, Boynton trails, and the descent from Oak Creek Canyon vista.  Accommodation should be no problem ? from budget to luxurious.  For a unique world-class experience, our favorites are either Enchantment Resorts or L??Auberge de Sedona. Hyatt Residences at Pinon Point could be a good alternative.  Restaurants in Sedona have become Arizona??s destinations themselves; our favorite being Mariposa, Rene??s, Dahl & DiLuca, Cress on Oak Creek (at L??Auberge hotel offering  seatings beside the river with several ducks swimming) and Che Ah Chi (at Enchantment resort with a breathtaking view of Boynton Canyon). Enchantment Resorts has a top-notch spa named Mi-Amo, with its healthy restaurant Tii Gavo.  If you’d rather cook — there’s a Whole Foods there too in addition to other chain stores.  Shopping is a unique experience. Sedona has become a site for artists to display and sell their work, with our favorites located at Tlaquepaque Arts& Craft Village. I am very sure you will enjoy your stay there!! My advice is to stay in Sedona for one to two nights.    Ruby Roa-Alboliras, UPCM ??80 Cell 602-384-3830
