Dr. Beatrice Concepcion is Medical Director of the Vanderbilt Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program

Dr. Beatrice Concepcion was appointed Medical Director of the Vanderbilt Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program.  The Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee is an independent non-profit organization that has academic affiliations with Vanderbilt University. Dr. Beatrice Concepcion belongs to UPCM Class 2004, and completed her residency and fellowship at the Rush University Medical Center in Chicago in 2008 and 2010 respectively.  She completed another fellowship at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2011.  She is Associate Professor of Medicine at the VUMC.  She succeeds Dr. J. Harold Helderman who was the Medical Director from 1995 to 2018.  She is the daughter of Professor Gisela Concepcion, former Vice President for Academic Affair in UP, and current President of the Philippine Academy for the Advancement of Science and Engineering.
