Dear Fellow UPMASAN,

Dr. Armand Crisostomo, Vice Chancellor for Research of UP Manila submitted a proposal to the Project Coordination Committee for the publication on an E-Book on Colorectal Disease. Dr. Crisostomo is also former President of the Philippine Society for Colorectal Surgery.

The Project Coordination Committee has approved the Project.

The funding target to get the Project under way is $ 25000.

An academic institution like our UP College of Medicine differentiates itself by being able to document knowledge and disseminate it.

The project will require three research MD’s  dedicated to culling the Philippine Experience and the Philippine Literature to define exclusive information presently available in the Philippines. This project is focused on Colorectal Disease as it affects Filipinos.

The remuneration of these dedicated researchers is the purpose of this request.
